The instrument possesses a mellow, well-balanced character across all ranges, supported by a deep resonance that reflects the use of century-old aged wood in its construction. Its rounded tone excels at bridging the upper soprano voices with the lower bass, while its natural vibrancy allows it to project beautifully in solo passages.
