The 2022 Jan Szlachtowski Goffriler-model cello is a beautifully crafted instrument designed for serious students and emerging professionals. Modeled after the classic Venetian design, it offers a full, resonant sound with excellent projection and responsiveness. Fitted with Wittner Finetune pegs, a Wittner tailpiece, and a Larsen/Spirocore string combination, this cello ensures smooth tuning and reliable performance.

Each Szlachtowski cello is professionally set up and adjusted in the LAVS workshop, using premium fittings and expert tonal adjustment for optimal playability and comfort.

About Jan Szlachtowski: Born in 1951 in Nowy Targ, Poland, trained under Jozef Bartoszek and further refined his skills at the William H. Lee workshop in Chicago. Since 1988, he has worked at the Bobak workshop in Poland, where he continues to build fine string instruments rooted in traditional European craftsmanship.
