Violin by Thomas Norwood, Paris, 1980

Thomas Norwood, a Pasadena-born guitar maker, moved to Paris in the mid-1970s after a city tour. Norwood expertly captured the sound and charm of historical master instruments with precise craftsmanship and attention to woodworking details. Though primarily a guitar maker, Norwood created a select number of violins.
