Violin by Baptiste Juguera, Montpellier 2025
Baptiste Juguera’s passion for music began in childhood at the Conservatoire of Montauban with special emphasis on chamber ensembles. Woodworking, however, came from his father, a cabinetmaker. Graduating in 2011 from France’s National School of Lutherie in Mirecourt, he trained under Frédéric Chaudière in Montpellier for eight years. Since 2012, his workshop near Montpellier’s historic quarter has produced handcrafted violins, violas, and cellos displayed internationally in Paris, London, New York, Seattle, Washington DC, South Korea, and Japan.
