After completing her undergraduate studies in musical performance, Ada Quaranta turned her attention to violinmaking at the Antonio Stradivari International Violin Making School in Cremona. From 1992 to 1999, she refined her restoration skills with J.F. Schmitt, Geigenbau Machold and Roger G. Hargrave. In 2001, she opened her own atelier in Italy, crafting modern and baroque instruments that blend traditional Cremonese methods with modern acoustic research.
