Viola Bow by Horst Schicker - Three Star

Horst Schicker (b. 1944) trained as a bow maker in Bubenreuth, Germany, under Emil Kühnl before establishing his own workshop in Franconia in 1971. Renowned for his finely graded bow models, he made bows for all bowed string instruments and also specialized in restoration and repair. His workshop in Baiersdorf continues today under the direction of his daughter, Michaela Schicker.
