The Jean Striebig violin is characterized by its velvety and warm qualities of sound. Its mid-lower register exudes richness and resonance; the upper register can become quite brilliant with great carrying power. With these unique qualities, this violin can be used in or in front of an orchestra - as both solo and ensemble. The violin exhibits a good response rate and balance from string to string, creating a well-balanced violin with great playability. 

This violin was made using premium tone woods such as ebony, spruce, and maple for best resonance. It was varnished with handcrafted excellence and fitted with high quality pegs, tailpiece, and chinrest. This violin is currently equipped with Evah Pirazzi Green violin strings.
