Its sound is warm and smooth, with an especially strong, rich C string and a sweet, lyrical upper register—ideal for orchestral blending and solo playing alike.

This cello is built from highly flamed maple and select European spruce, it features an ebony fingerboard and pegs, finished with a hand-rubbed oil varnish in warm reddish-brown tones with tasteful antiquing for a classic look. Professionally set up to LA Violin Shop specifications and strung with Larsen Solo A & D and Spirocore Tungsten G & C strings, the Gustav Roth Cello a reliable, high-quality step-up instrument—always in stock and ready to perform.
