Fantastic violin mute

I’ve been using the Comosono Silence Practice Mute for 2 weeks now. Mainly, out RV camping. It’s perfect on my carbon fiber “Strad” violin, which is very loud. I’m not disturbing other campers. IMO, it’s expensive, but necessary. LA Violin Shop was very quick to ship it. They included an awesome nail clipper which I leave in my case now and use a lot.

The best violin mute I've ever owned. It's better than my rubber or metal mutes, IMO. It's much more expensive than other mutes but retains much better sound quality. My instructor was very impressed by the sound quality and volume reduction. LA Violin shop shipped it to me very quickly as well. Great product and excellent service.

The comosono mute is a very well-made and performs well. Unlike the rubber mutes that I have used, this mute is adjustable both in pressure and location on the bridge. This gives you multiple options to regulate the sound while using. Most mutes produce a dull, muffled sound, but this mute allows the string to fully resonate (although at a lower volume), producing a quiet but sweet sound. I would like to give a shout-out to the LA Violin Shop for outstanding service. They notified me when the mute was back in stock and shipped it immediately after I placed the order.
